Julie Mikesell is a person who brings nearly two decades of Real Estate experience to Rossmoor Realty.

Born in Southern California, she and her family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area when she was nine years old. They settled in the quaint town of Martinez where she continues to reside today. As a child she had a passion for horses. She, along with her friends rode trails and competed together in local horse shows held by the Martinez Horsemen’s Association. She loved to come in first place and take home those ribbons!

As an adult she is an avid boater, loves hiking and gardening, has become quite the foodie, and enjoys preparing specialty meals after watching the Food Network. She and her husband Bob raised six children together who are now all successful adults working in the medical, education, and cosmetology industries. They are also proud grandparents of nine adorable grandkids.

Julie also has a passion for serving the community and as such has held roles in the Home Building, and Telecommunications industries. As a Project Manager within those roles, it aided her in developing key cross-functional skills that transcend industries. They afforded her the ability to listen, and communicate effectively, have compassion and empathy for others, as well as identify issues, mitigate risks, and negotiate favorable outcomes. Her desire to serve others soon led her to obtain her Real Estate license in 2004 and pursue a career in Real Estate.
